Doctoral Student

My name is Michelle Galanti and I am a first year PhD student in the Genetics Department. My research is focused on Teacher Noticing, which is a complex process that requires teachers to attend to, interpret, and respond to moments of student thinking in the classroom. I am also interested in how epistemic empathy and pedagogical content knowledge can support Teacher Noticing skills.

I am currently a Teaching Assistant for GENE 3200.
