We have organized this page to help you locate faculty who might share your research interests. Roll your mouse over a research interest and those faculty with that research interest will be highlighted. When the picture is in color, you can click on it to go to a detailed description of that person's research.

The Department of Genetics has 25 faculty who actively conduct cutting-edge research in genetics and teach both undergraduate and graduate students. We are unique in that our Department brings together a broad array of faculty committed to research and training in molecular genetics, evolutionary biology, and genomics. We are joined in our research program by a number of faculty in other departments. Together, these 40 research faculty publish in the top journals, generate tens of million of dollars in external funding, and are invited to speak all over the world. Amazingly for a program of our size, we have three members of the prestigious National Academy of Sciences who have active research labs.
