	Expression of constitutive (vegetative) profilin 1 (PRF1) is detected in root tissue but not in pollen tube with a specific mouse monoclonal antibody (PRFmAb1a). Expression of pollen specific profilins 4 and 5 (PRF4, PRF5) is detected inpollen tube but not root tissue with a specific mouse monoclonal antibody (PRFmAb45a). Expression of all five Arabidopsis profilins is detected in both root tissue and pollen tubes with a polyclonal rabbit antibody PRFpAb that reacts with all plant profilins
