Research Interests
An individual organism has various experiences during its development to adult sexual maturity, and previous experiences may influence subsequent behaviors including mate choice. As a behavioral geneticist using Drosophila as a model organism, I have been currently studying experience-dependent behavior modification behaviorally, chemically, and neurologically. My research also involves reproductive behavior and speciation, sexual selection, and genetic bases for olfactory learning in Drosophila.
