Eleanor Kuntz, graduate student

Eleanor is interested in genome architecture and invasiveness. She is exploring the relationship between transposable elements and weediness in red rice.

Hassan Mansour, Visiting graduate student

Hassan is a graduate student at Suez Canal University in Isma'ilia, Egypt and is visiting the lab for 2 years with a grant from the Egyptian government. He is interested in the genetics of mating system variation in a Primula species endemic to the Sina'i desert as well as the genetics of mango germplasm accessions in Egypt.

Greg is an alumnus of our UGA-China PIRE program and is helping on a variety of lab projects.

Joan West, PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher

Joan received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of Maryland's Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, Systematics Program working with David Hawthorne on the genetic basis of pea aphid host plant specialization. She is working on the genetics of adaptation in Arabidopsis lyrata.
