Vanessa Koelling, Graduate student Vanessa is interested in studying how species form. In particular, her research focuses on understanding the evolutionary and ecological processes responsible for reproductive barriers between species. She is beginning to look at the ecological and genetic basis of reproductive isolation between 2 species in the genus, Leavenworthia. Her work is funded by an NIH National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (GM67574-01).
