2nd Year PhD Graduate Student

B.S in Biochemistry from UCLA. I worked as a small business owner and a lab technician for several years after graduating college before deciding to pursue my doctorate degree. Prior to starting my graduate studies, my research focused on finding therapies for kids afflicted with peroxisomal biogenesis disorders. I did this under the guidance of Joseph G. Hacia at the University of Southern California. I'm most interested in doing research that will lead to biomedical interventions.
